In this review, I tuck into the world of Allplants and their ready-to-eat vegan meals. They deliver incredible tasting, chef-made, nutritionally balanced ready to heat meals at your convenience to fuel your life in a vibrant, great way.

For quick and healthy frozen dishes and the convenience of home delivery, Allplants have one of the largest plant-based meal selections on offer in the UK.

They also really stand out for their ethics and sustainability, so when they offered to send me a box to try, I jumped at the chance! I thought the idea of having a few of their meals stacked in the freezer would be perfect for 100% guilt-free, easy peasy meals instead of spending a fortune on takeaways, and a way healthier option for those 'just can't be bothered' days.

"No meat, no fish, no dairy or eggs, just plants, allplants 🌱 "

It's a really simple set-up, you choose 6 meals in either 1 or 2 person portions and currently you get 46 main meals to choose from. For my first box I chose: Rainbow Falafel Mezze (pictured), Butternut + Spinach Curry, Smoky Soul Chilli, Chicken' Katsu Curry, Lasagne Noci and Peri Peri Strips + Spicy Rice

I've listed these in the order I enjoyed most, my fave being the Falafel Mezze cause I'm a sucker for hummus. Overall, I was really impressed with the variety and the fact they were loaded with colourful and fresh ingredients. Unlike most ready meals you buy at supermarkets which feel like a few bland ingredients swimming in sauce.

I also love that you can opt for sides, breakfasts, treats and smoothies alongside mains, so you can plug all those gaps in your diet with healthy goodness!

Allplants Sustainability & Ethics

What I love most about Allplants is their central mission to inspire people to eat more plants to fight climate change. They say eating 3 plant-based meals every week for 1 year saves:

🚗 600kg co2 - the equivalent of driving from London to Egypt (5,000 km)

💧 370,000 litres of water the equivalent of leaving the shower on for 33 days

🌳 Almost 1 acre of land - that could be used to plant over 1,000 trees

"We need a food system that works with nature and puts back in more than it takes out."

Allplants are also passionate about reducing waste and ensuring all food is sustainably grown with full transparency of its origin. They are as human-kind as they are planet-kind, ensuring everyone is valued and treated fairly. To top it off they're a Certified Ⓑ Corp, Living Wage Employer and working towards net zero by 2030.

Allplants Packaging

You can return your liner and dry ice packs to allplants FREE of charge, as reusing beats recycling! ♻️ Try and send as many back in one box as possible! The great news is, if for any reason Collect+ isn't convenient for you can still recycle the denim liner sleeve and dry ice packs alongside plastic bags at your local supermarket.

Allplants Pricing

Each main meal starts from £5.95 (or from £9.75 for 2 people) or you can save more when you opt for their bundles such as £25 for 5 of their bestselling dishes. When you compare this to the price of a takeaway, or the quality and nutritional value of a supermarket ready meal, you definitely win both ways with Allplants. You can choose any meals you like, just build a basket of at least £25 to get started!

Overall, I give Allplants a big thumbs up. The variety and choice is excellent (the biggest in the UK) so you'll never get bored and the meals were really tasty. I'm also a big fan of the fully recyclable and sustainable packaging along with:
